FAQs About JQY Life

What is a Resource Navigator?

A Resource Navigator is a JQY volunteer who has been trained to work with you on setting and completing goals from the list above. This typically occurs within 1-4 online meetings.

Resource Navigators focus on one area at a time. When you register, please choose the area of assistance that you most want to work on first.

Ugh, we wish. Resource Navigators can help you look for and apply to entry-level jobs. Additionally, they can help you revamp your resume and prepare for an interview.

JQY Life is intended for JQYers, ages 17-24, who are looking for support in the areas listed above. Please do not register if you are over the age of 24. Resource Navigators are local to the tri-state area and cannot guarantee assistance to residents of other states.

NO! JQY Life is not a mental health service, and Resource Navigators are not mental health professionals. If you are in distress or need mental health support, call the Trevor Project Hotline at 866-488-7386.
