JQY Out: Fall Outing

Let’s settle in to Fall by taking a historical walk in the queerest part of Manhattan. What do West Side Story, Where the Wild Things Are, a historic Greenwich Village cafe and the fight for lgbtq rights have in common? They are all part of the queer Jewish history in New York City. JQY is partnering with the NYC LGBTQ+ Historic Sites Project to take you on an adventure where you will encounter Jewish queer artists, writers and activists that have helped shape our city into the one you see today. After this, we will walk over to Washington Square Park for treats. This event is for ages 13–23 who want to join JQY on the road for a seasonal adventure.
